Entrepreneur, new business development and funds procurement expert, Barnard bought his first company, BlackHawk Travel, in 1997. As President & CEO he grew revenue from $2 million to $8 million annually. He sold the company and went on to lead the sales team for publicly traded Ambassadors International. Barnard successfully developed packages and negotiated deals with high profile corporations like Inc Magazine, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, LiveStrong & NCAA. After building one of the most successful new sports travel marketing programs ever created, Barnard traded in his keys to the executive suite and formed Marigold Resources, a mid-market mergers and acquisitions firm. He is currently a Managing Partner and advises local start-ups in his spare time.
